Waxing, Spray Tans, Eyelash Extensions and Lash and Brow Tinting, Relaxation Massage, Manicures and Pedicures using OPI polish or OPI Infinite Shine. At Light as a Feather Beauty, only the best quality products are used. Sarah holds a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and the salon is registered with Maroondah Council Health Department. Sometime in the busyness of September, both in and out of the salon, Light as a Feather Beauty turned 15! The average small business salon in the hair and beauty industry lasts for 5-7years, in fact about 20% sadly close within the first 12 months of business. So against all odds, 15 years is pretty special! Lots of hard work, a bit of chaos and a sparkling sprinkle of ADHD hyper focus has got me here (along with the support of my family of course), and I can’t imagine life any other way!)
20 years ago I was more than half way through my Diploma, and said my goal was to have my own salon from home, so it’s pretty awesome to hit this milestone. Thank you for coming on this ride with me and entrusting me with your self care 💜
