✅A little goes a long way with thinning scissors.

Work with the direction of the coat growth, never against it. Going against the coat lifts the hair and you end up thinning underneath, taking out more than you intended and leaving holes you can’t put back.

Small amounts. Follow the coat. Comb through between every pass and look at the face as a whole.

Done well, thinning scissors soften the expression and take the hard edge off a clipped line. Done in a hurry, they leave you chasing the damage.

When shampooing, gently work the product through the coat rather than scrubbing.

Scrubbing creates friction, which can cause knots, tangles and coat breakage.

Look at how the hair is moving and make sure you’re working with the coat, not against it.
