Ceri’s version of mentoring is very hands-on.

It can be checking a formula before colour goes on, talking through a consultation that feels a little tricky, helping a stylist decide whether to push a result further or protect the hair, reviewing a finished look, or debriefing after an appointment about what worked and what they’d do differently next time.

She also knows where each stylist is strong, where they’re still building confidence, and when to step in versus when to let them back themselves.

And because she knows so many of our clients so well, there’s often context behind the advice too: what that client usually loves, what they’ve tried before, how much maintenance they realistically want, or what has and hasn’t worked for them in the past.It’s not one big training moment.

It’s hundreds of little conversations, check-ins and decisions happening every week that help the whole team get better.

What makes a great extension result? The cut matters too. Extensions don’t become seamless the second they’re applied.

The cut is a huge part of what makes the final result actually work, how the added hair blends into the natural hair, how the weight sits, how it moves, and whether everything feels like one cohesive shape rather than two separate lengths.

Elizabeth specialises in keratin bonds, so a big part of her work is thinking beyond the application itself and looking at the finished result as a whole.

Technically perfect extensions can still look obvious if the cut isn’t right. The goal is always the same: hair that looks natural, moves beautifully and doesn’t scream “extensions.”
