》S H E D attempt 2 - Part 1
We spent today putting up the shed frame. Starting with the end portal, centre portal, front portal, girts and some temporary bracing to keep it all standing.
Made a few silly mistakes, not surprising. The neighbour arrived at the right time,when we needed an extra set of hands. Not sure if we would have managed with just the two of us.
Relationship: tested. Shed: standing.
Part 2 next weekend!

》A perfect day for the installation of our new water tank.
It is amazing how the whole water tank is flatpacked on a trailer, easy way of transport. Crazy to think it can hold up to 135.000 liters of water.
The installers from Kingspan Watertanks arrived at 7.30am in the morning and we had the water cart scheduled for 11 am to fill it up with 10% off the capacity. It all went perfectly on schedule, and they were finished by 1.30pm.
The eucalyptus colour blends nicely in with the trees and nature around, and also shouldn't reflect to much with the sun on it during summer.

W E E K 3
》Earthworks has been completed and we are ready for in ground services to go in over the next few weeks in preparation of the concrete slab for the shed and house.
The two septic tanks and two 13m leach drains have been installed to services our house. Our fluent disposal system got inspected and approved for use by the Shire of Northam.
The kangaroos have been inspection our pad to make sure they are level, looks like some tracks of a possible fox as well.
Project TinyAcres is on its way!

》Day 1 - Final Result
So exciting, Larissa met our Earthworks Contractors on site today to run through the project. The new camera is tracking the progress pretty good, I've been so excited and checking it every half an hour today.

Tiny Acres: Building Begins!
》This has been our peaceful escape for the last few years. From camping with the two of us and Easter Shenanigans with the family, it's finally coming to a stage of building our dream house.
Last weekend we got the shipping container installed for storage, and the surveyors pegged out our house, water tank and shed. This weekend we will install a camera to follow the progress.
Nervous and excited at same time. Bring on the 'construction' adventures. Follow us on this channel to see this unfold into our Tiny house on a bit of acreages.

Project Winnie 88 // before & after
》After a few months of sporadically working on our caravan, we were finally able to stay up there for two weekends this month and enjoy the easiness of not pitching a tent.
We created our second home the way we wanted it, and knowing that we didn't have to ask for permission of each single screw fixed made this such an amazing project doing together.
Got two more small things to fix, and then we are pretty happy with the end result of Winnie!
