With the power of my ancestors I was honoured to speak at the Reconciliation WA Breakfast on Whadjuk Boodja today and broadcast across the nation.

Some stories you know, some you don’t but all should break your heart. I told the truth because I believe it is the pathway to change and for making life better for all of us.

This is what happens when live jazz and electronic music collide

Takuya Nakamura is one of the most innovative performers in electronic music, blending jazz, jungle, ambient, and club sounds into a unique live experience that pushes the boundaries of a traditional DJ set.

Originally from Tokyo and now based in New York City, Nakamura has spent decades shaping the underground electronic music scene, turning every performance into a real-time fusion of live instruments and dancefloor energy.

Known for playing trumpet, keys, and synthesizers while DJing, he creates a sound that sits between jazz improvisation and modern electronic music culture.

From studying under jazz pioneer George Russell to collaborating with legends like Quincy Jones, his work proves that live musicianship and club music can exist on the same stage.

This is not just a DJ set but a pure live performance.
