Fortnight Check-In #03
Another two weeks in the books.
Training. Studying. Building the studio.
Recovering. Preparing for my photoshoot.
Nothing here happened overnight. Just a collection of small decisions repeated every day.
I’m sharing these check-ins because progress isn’t made in one big moment-it’s built through the days nobody really sees.
See you in two weeks for Check-In #04. 🤝

A little photo dump from the last couple of weeks.
Back from Bali and straight back into routine.
Training. Cutting hair. Meal prep. Recovery. Music. Time with the people I love. Chasing goals, one day at a time.
Nothing fancy—just the life I’m building, and I’m enjoying every step of it. 👊

April & May. What a ride.
The plan was simple.
Run the Paris Marathon.
See my family and friends in France.
Create memories back home.
Instead, none of it happened.
At the time, it felt like a huge disappointment. Months of training, a trip I’d been looking forward to for so long… gone overnight.
But life has a funny way of rewriting the script.
Instead, Carly and I ended up in Thailand. We explored temples, islands, markets and sunsets. Made new memories, met amazing people, laughed a lot… and somewhere in the middle of it all, she became my fiancée. 💍❤️
Back in Perth, life didn’t slow down.
The studio kept growing.
Training resumed with a new goal: Melbourne Marathon.
A half marathon PB of 1:34.
A few rounds of golf.
A few tattoos.
Time with friends.
And at nearly 40 years old, I’m in the best shape of my life.
Looking back, these two months reminded me that not every setback is a loss.
Sometimes the things that don’t happen make room for the things that are meant to.
Grateful for the lessons, the people, the memories and everything still to come.
❤️
