Blue Lily Rituals began when I stopped searching.

For months, I tried to create an essential oil blend that felt right. No matter what I combined, something was missing. Eventually, I let the idea go.

Then, while wandering through a festival, I came across Blue Lotus.
The moment I smelled it, I simply loved it.
When I returned home, I found myself researching this beautiful flower and learning about its long history as a symbol of relaxation, reflection, connection and renewal.

The more I learned, the more everything seemed to fall into place.
At the same time, my beauty business is naturally evolving. I’m drawn to creating slower, more intentional experiences .. rituals that help women pause, reconnect with themselves, and find a little calm in the middle of everyday life.
Blue Lotus became the heart of that vision.
And so, Blue Lily Rituals was born.

I’m so excited to bring Blue Lotus-infused skincare and body rituals, created to transform everyday self-care into moments of stillness, presence and self-connection.

A little update on my oil saga...
I’ve decided to take a small break from blending essential oils for now. My nose can’t handle anymore sniffing 🙃
Every time I think I’ve created something I love, I come back to it a few days later and start questioning it. Maybe it’s because I’m trying so hard to create something truly special, and then I find myself wondering if it’s already been done before. The truth is, I’m naturally drawn to scents that people already love, so finding that balance between familiar and unique has been more challenging than I expected.
But sometimes stepping away creates space for something even better.
Recently, I’ve come across something that has genuinely made me excited. It’s not something I see everywhere, and it carries so much meaning, intention, and depth behind it. It feels different. More aligned.
So while I’m pressing pause on one idea, I’m quietly exploring another✨ Some days it feels like I’m constantly changing direction ( I don’t think my husband can keep up with my brain lately 🤣), but I think I’m actually just finding my way. This with business, and life .. For now, I’m giving myself permission to explore, be curious, and see where these paths lead 🌸

A little business update ✨

Over the years, I’ve been so grateful to care for so many beautiful clients through lashes, waxing and a range of treatments. As Her Kind. Beauty & Wellness continues to evolve, I’ve found myself feeling increasingly drawn towards skin rituals and the deeper experience they create.

More and more, I feel called to create a space that is truly about relaxation. A space where you can slow down, switch off and simply be cared for. Facials that are centred around touch, massage, presence and letting go. No pressure, no rushed appointments, no pushy sales, just time for yourself 💕

Since becoming a mum, I’ve come to understand on a much deeper level how important it is to have moments where you’re nurtured too. That understanding has shaped the direction I want Her Kind to grow.

Moving forward, I will no longer be accepting new clients for lashes, waxing or other beauty services. I will, however, continue to care for all of my existing clients as usual. All new client bookings will be for skin rituals only.
