Had such a great experience at Sony Scenescape! 🎥📸

There were different zones including Portrait, Landscape and Cinema, with live demonstrations and plenty of opportunities to get hands-on.

The Landscape Zone even had birds, lizards and small animals to photograph, while in the Cinema Zone I got to try the Sony FX5 and see a little more of what goes into professional cinematography.

One of the coolest parts was being able to loan cameras for 30 or 60 minutes and actually take them around to test and shoot.

I also got to meet photographer and content creator Ben Hargreaves, who shared some great insights into content creation, along with sessions around women building careers behind the camera and creating content that brands want.

Such an inspiring day for anyone interested in photography, videography or content creation! ✨

A little IKEA outing! 🛒❤️

We sometimes go to IKEA just for their plant balls with mashed potato, gravy and jam! 😂

It sounds like such a strange combination, but honestly, it tastes really good. And Fridays are even better because the plant/meat balls are half price! 🙌

After lunch, we had a look around the Market Hall, checked out some colourful cushions and summer bedsheets, and of course, I couldn’t resist picking up some tea light candles for Diwali. 🪔✨

Can we talk about how hard it can be to say no?

Sometimes we say yes because we don’t want to disappoint someone.
We say yes because we’re worried they’ll be upset.
We say yes because we’re so used to putting everyone else first.

But saying no doesn’t make you a bad person.

You can love someone and still have boundaries.
You can be kind and still say no.
You can care about others and still protect your own time and energy.

And you don’t always need a long explanation.

Sometimes “No, I can’t” is enough.

So if you’ve been saying yes when you really want to say no, here’s your reminder:

You’re allowed to protect your time, your energy and your peace. ❤️

Ice skating can be such a fun family activity — especially if you’re looking to get the kids away from screens and try something new!

There are instructors and classes for different levels, skate shoes are provided, and they also offer drop-in classes for $35 per class, which is a great way to give it a try without committing to regular lessons.

Plus, there’s a café where you can relax and grab a coffee or something to eat after skating.

Definitely adding this to our list of fun family activities! ❤️

As women, we can get so caught up in work, family, responsibilities and taking care of everyone else that we keep putting ourselves last.

And we tell ourselves:

“I’ll do it when I have time.”
“Maybe later.”
“It’s not important.”

But your happiness matters too.

It doesn’t always have to be something big. It could be getting dressed up for no reason, having a coffee by yourself, trying something new, meeting a friend, creating something, or simply taking an hour for yourself.

You don’t have to earn joy.

A beautiful Ganapati celebration filled with devotion, prayers, aarti and togetherness. 🪔❤️

We started with blessings at the temple, continued the celebrations at home with friends, took turns doing aarti and ended the day with a delicious festival food spread! 😋🍽️

So grateful for these simple moments of faith, friendship and togetherness.

May Lord Ganesha remove all obstacles and bless everyone with happiness, prosperity, peace and good health. 🙏✨

Harrow & Harvest Café is such a beautiful Melbourne find. What makes it even more special is that the space was originally a church dating back to 1890.

I love how the historic character has been beautifully blended with a modern café aesthetic — creating such a warm and Instagram-worthy space. 🤍

Definitely one to add to your Melbourne café list! ☕️📸
