Retention is not always an adhesive problem. Your humidity, temperature, how you store your glue, your application and how clean the natural lashes are can ALL impact your retention.

Good isolation matters more than finishing the set quicker. While you’re learning, focus on getting your isolation and placement right before worrying about speed. Rushing these steps early on can turn into BAD habits that are much harder to fix later.

Your sets taking 3 hours as a beginner is not an issue. Lashing is a skill and it takes time to learn. I would much rather see you take 3 hours and do things properly than rush through a set just to say you finished it quickly. Speed comes with practiceeeee.

You do not need to lash every single lash to create a beautiful set. Especially while you’re learning, focus on creating an even set with good coverage and no obvious gaps rather than obsessing over getting every single lash (this will take you all day to try and lash every single lashable lash while you’re learning!)
