Choosing a bridal mehndi artist was one of the most challenging decisions for my wedding. Whilst there is no dearth of incredible henna artists in India, February is such a busy wedding period in India.

Fortunately, I saw ‘s work at a wedding and did a close analysis of the line work and aesthetic and felt it matched my expectations (clean work is what I care about) He was available and able to travel to my house.

I didn’t want something extravagant or too contemporary. My only instructions to him were to space out the lines more than his normal style and to not rush. He was very accomodating and hilarious and kept everyone entertained with non stop one liners!

Thank you Mitul Bhai for your incredible art and humour! He is based in Rajasthan (Ganganagar/Hanumangarh) and can travel to most locations where public transport is accessible.

Wow!! What a year!!!!

2023 was anything but ordinary!! It’s been an exceptionally challenging year on all fronts but there’s always an opportunity for growth and learning even if one can’t see it in the moment! Henna has of course been my constant, my guiding star, and henna is what keeps me connected to you!

I’ve had amazing market opportunities and got to meet many of you personally, which is always a delight! All your messages and words of support and encouragement mean the world to me! I read and respond to every single one of them. Oh and the brain games, I love doing those with you! I’ve already got a new calendar for next year that isn’t brain games but I think you’ll love it. I look forward to making it a special part of your day one I’m back in Australia (Feb)

It’s been an absolute honour being a part of your special celebrations this year and I’m sorry for all the ones I had to miss whilst on leave!

The genocide in Falasteen is still ongoing. I’ll never return to a normal that doesn’t include Falasteen in my thoughts, prayers and actions! Please keep calling your reps, send those ceasefire emails, share their voice and never stop speaking up for them. As we bid adieu to this year, I pray, hope and wish for a permanent ceasefire, end of occupation and a free Palestine!
