The Skin Nurse
All treatments are carried out by our Registered Nurses & Skin Specialists. We use only medical grade equipment & skincare.
We are constantly striving to offer the latest & best technology available on the market. The Skin Nurse - Aisling Kane
Hailing from Ireland, Aisling qualified as a Registered Nurse a decade ago but left for Australia in search of sunshine and a possible career change. Working in emergency departments over the state, she was struck with a horrific case of adult acne in her mid twenties. She became obsessed with fixing it, trying every lotion and potion on the market and throwing thousands of dollars on treatments and medication. Eventually, this singular obsession led to her undertaking a post-graduate diploma in Cosmetic Nursing, learning the art and science of perfect skin. Now she’s on a personal mission to help people with their skin concerns, giving them the confidence that comes from glowing skin.
Going straight into a corrective skin treatment without understanding your skin is like searching for treasure without a map. You know what you’re hoping to achieve, but you don’t have the roadmap to get there.
That’s why we always start with a Skin Health Assessment, even when you’re keen to jump straight into treatment.
We understand wanting to get on with it, especially when a skin concern has been bothering you for a while. But first, we need the full picture: what’s concerning you, what you’ve already tried, the condition of your skin and, importantly, how well your skin barrier is functioning.
From there, we can build an approach around what your skin needs and what it’s ready for. Sometimes that means bringing it right back to basics and supporting your barrier before moving on to more intensive treatments.
Every step has a purpose, and the order matters.
Book a Skin Health Assessment and we’ll work through where to start, together. 🤍

We are getting booked out until Christmas and we don't want you to miss out.
HIFU takes three months to fully develop. PICO works best as a series. If you want your skin to look and feel its best by December, the starting line is now, not November when the panic sets in.
DM us "SKIN" to lock in your Skin Health Assessment and we'll map the timing around your Christmas calendar 💛
Chantal has seen a lot of skin. And she will find the source of your breakout 😌
Whether it's a product clash, a barrier that's given up, or something your skincare shelf has been quietly making worse, we get to the bottom of it. Every time.
DM us "SKIN" to book a Skin Health Assessment and let Chantal investigate 🔍💛

Four products. That's the whole homecare list we start most clients on.
The Core Four exist because what you do at home decides how well your in-clinic work holds.
Cleansing Complex to clean without stripping.
Pro-Heal to support and strengthen.
SHEALD to repair when your skin needs rescuing.
Extreme Protect SPF because none of it matters if you're not protected.
No 12-step shelf. Just the four that do the heavy lifting.
Our clinic has won 2 iS Clinical awards in one year, and we still can't quite believe it.
The first was the Platinum Circle Award, presented to us in Vietnam back in April. The second is the Blue Diamond Innovator Award, and I'm in the USA this week accepting it on behalf of our whole team.
To be recognised on a global stage, alongside clinics doing extraordinary work all over the world, is an honour we don't take lightly. iS Clinical has been part of how we treat skin here from the very beginning, so to be acknowledged by them twice in one year means more than I can really put into words.
It isn't luck, but it isn't ours alone either. It belongs to a team who are genuinely obsessed with skin and who show up for it every single day, and to every client who has sat in our chair and trusted us with something as personal as the skin they're in.
Thank you for that trust. We're so grateful ✨
We're used to booking hair, tan and nails in the week before an event, so it's easy to assume skin treatments work the same way. The thing is, collagen doesn't work to an event deadline.
Here's the method I'd follow.
#1 - Start now, not in November.
Collagen doesn't work to an event deadline. After a treatment like HIFU, your body still needs time to form and remodel new collagen, and that process generally takes at least 8 to 10 weeks to develop, with results continuing to build beyond that. By the time party season actually arrives, November is already too late to start.
#2 - Use HIFU to work the deeper support layers.
HIFU delivers focused ultrasound energy beneath the skin's surface, into the deeper support layers, stimulating your body's own collagen response from the inside out. Over time that translates to skin that feels firmer and more supported, with a more lifted, defined appearance through the lower face and jawline. It's gradual and it's natural-looking, which is exactly the point.
#3 - Consider pairing HIFU with EmYoung for the lower face.
For the jawline specifically, we can combine HIFU with EmYoung, so while HIFU works on the skin above, EmYoung is stimulating the muscles underneath at the same time. The two complement each other well for that more defined, sculpted result.
** #4 - Book the consultation before you book the treatment.**
Every client is different, and not everyone is a good candidate for every procedure. The right starting point is always a proper assessment so the plan is built around your skin, your goals, and your timeline, not a generic menu.
If this is on your radar for the warmer months, now is genuinely the time to move on it. Visit our Link in Bio to book now 💛

She is intense, in the best and occasionally terrifying way. 😂
She doesn’t really do anything at 50%. If she has an idea, there will be a plan, a spreadsheet, three revised versions and probably a message asking, “Does this sound better?” before most people have finished their coffee.
She has very high standards, mostly for herself, but if you work with her, those standards are absolutely coming your way too. 😂
She notices the tiny things. Wording matters. Presentation matters. Client experience matters. “That’ll do” is not a phrase she particularly enjoys.
She’s a nurse through and through. Underneath the business owner, trainer, injector and entrepreneur is a very strong “I need to look after people properly” streak.
She can sell, market and grow a business, but if something doesn’t feel clinically right or ethical, she won’t do it just because there’s money in it.
Do not mistake her kindness for softness. She’ll give people chances, help them and do more than she needs to… but there is definitely a line. Disrespect her team or mistake generosity for weakness and good luck. 😂
She’s fiercely protective of her people. Her family and team mean everything to her.
She also carries a ridiculous number of things in her head at once: clinic, staff, clients, training, marketing, travel, childcare, swimming lessons, dinner and approximately 47 unfinished ideas.
She can go from discussing laser parameters to hotel prices, an Instagram caption and whether she can get Arabella to swimming at 3pm without any apparent transition. 😂
She will research something until there is practically nothing left to research. “Which hotel is best?” is never just one question.
She is ambitious because she genuinely wants to build something excellent. Reputation, longevity and knowing her craft matter.
And she is ALWAYS thinking about the next thing.
So if you’re meeting Ash: keep up, mean what you say, don’t waste her time, have a sense of humour and never tell her something is “good enough” when she knows it could be better. 😂
But if she loves you, trusts you or considers you one of her people?
You’ll have someone in your corner who will go ridiculously far for you.
"I've already spent so much money and nothing has worked." We hear this one constantly.
Thousands spent on products, treatments tried at different clinics, and still no real change. The frustrating part is that it's rarely about the money spent. It's about never having had the right starting point. When we actually know what your skin needs, we stop the guessing, narrow the routine down to four or five products that earn their place, and only recommend treatments that make sense for where your skin is right now.
We also have payment options, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, so a proper skin plan doesn't have to wait until the timing feels perfect.
DM us "SKIN" to start with a Skin Health Assessment. We'll tell you honestly what your skin needs, and what it doesn't 💛
At The Skin Nurse, we've built a complete suite of laser and light-based technology, because every skin concern calls for something a little different 📋
Pigmentation, redness, texture, tone, ageing, we've got a modality designed with that in mind ☺️
We are not about chasing the newest device for the sake of it. It's about having the right tool for the job, backed by a nurse who actually knows which one your skin needs 🍀
Wondering which device is suitable for your skin? Book a skin health assessment today to find out.
