As much as I love skincare, not everything in my bathroom comes from the clinic.

These are a few of the products I’ve bought on repeat and always seem to find their way back into my trolley every winter.

🛒 Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Wash
A simple, gentle body wash that never leaves my skin feeling stripped. Great for dry, sensitive skin and conditions like eczema and dermatitis.

🛒 Invite Vitamin E Cream
Not glamorous, not fancy and definitely not winning any awards for scent. It applies a bit like Sorbolene, but hear me out. This cream is a game-changer for keeping the skin on the body hydrated, soft and comfortable (when used daily). It’s done wonders for my dermatitis and helped manage my twins’ eczema-prone skin when they were younger.

🛒 Magnesium Salts + Body Buffing Cloth
My favourite winter ritual. A bath, a magnesium soak and 30 minutes of doing absolutely nothing, followed by a gentle body buff. The amount of dead skin that comes off afterwards is weirdly satisfying.

🛒 CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm
Always in my handbag. My go-to for keeping my lips soft, hydrated and comfortable throughout the day.

🛒 Nivea Pure Invisible Roll-On
A deodorant I’ve found that’s kind to my skin and still does the actual job of being a deodorant. I tend to get dermatitis anywhere things rub on my skin, including my underarms, and this is my current go-to.

🛒 Banana Boat Sport SPF50+
Not our everyday SPF, but the one for sun, surf and sweat. This is what we reach for when we’re swimming, sweating or spending hours outdoors. The kids definitely inherited my fair skin rather than Alan’s, so we need an SPF that stays put. If you’re very sensitive to sunscreen, a mineral zinc SPF may be a better option.
