This hair transformation is very close to my heart. This is my dear friend Lana. 2 years ago, her stationary car was hit at 80kph. The journey that followed was horrific, with emergency surgery, an enduced coma, intense physio, more surgery and a long time in hospital, this girl amazingly pulled through.
Now although it seems insignificant compared to the rest, she also had to have her head shaved twice, which was a big deal, as Lana had always had the longest, thickest most enviable hair ever, in a way, it was her trademark. Well 2 years on I was so honoured to be the first one to do her hair.
She was so excited and said ‘she felt like herself again!’ it was another little milestone for her, in her long road to recovery, and boy am I happy that I got to be the one to make her feel that way.
Onwards and upwards Lana, you’re a fighter, and every little step is a huge achievement ❤️
