Ten years ago I was invited to be a part of a misfit crew to Nevada to build a maze at Burning Man.

I spent two weeks on the Playa, watching wide-eyed and wild hearted the construct of a city that drew 68,000 people through the gates that year.

Surrounded by dreamers, poets, changemakers, philosophers, anarchists....I was in my element. It was raw, relentless, intoxicating and heartachingly beautiful.

This evening after serving sound at Synergy I recalled my first introduction to a Sound Immersion ( see first pic ). It was just us in the middle of the desert with a few gongs and tired bodies laying on the dust. It planted seeds of cosmic proportions and by fates design I was invited to be a Temple Guardian...a gift that I can certainly say was life changing.

What a incredibly beautiful life. Looking back at the threads of all the adventures around the World weaves such colour still in my everyday moments. What a gift to be perfectly imperfect...to viscerally feel the marrow of it all.
