Thank you, Bulk Nutrients for supporting us with a $1,000 grant through your Bulk Gives Back program, and that means a lot to a small chapter run entirely by volunteers.

Every dollar of it is going into safety gear for our volunteers and riding partners. Hi-vis vests so our pilots are seen, helmet brims to keep the glare off. The gear that keeps everyone safe out on the path.

They chose 100 organisations across the country this year, and we made the list. Our pilots will feel this one every time they roll out at Paradise Point and The Spit.

Some lovely news to share. Cycling Without Age Gold Coast is one of this year's recipients of Kinetic's Moving Communities Fund, and we're so grateful.

Here's what it means out here. New banner flags so more people can find us by the water, fresh signage on our trishaws and brochures, and support with the insurance that keeps our wheels turning. Small, practical things that add up to one big one: more of our community getting to come along for a ride.

Cycling Without Age Gold Coast offers free trishaw rides for seniors and people with disabilities, and we’d love to take you out for a spin.

Our volunteer pilots are ready to roll from Paradise Point and The Spit/Main Beach, creating 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗷𝗼𝘆, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵‑a𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺. Whether it’s your first ride or your favourite weekly outing, you’re always welcome.

Many come along to a ride, get chatting, and end up doing whatever suits them. Some find out they love being on the pedals. Others turn out to be handy with a spanner, or a spreadsheet, or a camera. That's more or less the whole recruitment process. We're stretched thin most weeks, but what comes back fills us up again. You just can't really explain a morning like this. You have to stand there and watch it happen. That's what Bendigo Bank did last week. A PR team came up from Victoria, spent the morning with us, and saw the thing we get to see every single time.

Two riders, one sunny morning, and a grin you could see from the car park. Then the bikes rolled out, good people either side of them. For a bit, that was the whole world.

Of all the community groups they could have spotlighted, they picked us. And they didn't just send an email about it. They turned up. So this one's a thank you. To Bendigo Bank, for choosing us, and for coming out to see it for themselves.
