One of the biggest misconceptions about wrinkles is that they happen because of age alone.
But two people can be the exact same age and have completely different wrinkle patterns.
That’s because wrinkles are influenced by a combination of factors including facial movement, skin quality, genetics, sun exposure and even the way your face is naturally structured.
That’s why you’ll often see one person develop forehead lines first, while someone else notices changes around their eyes or lower face.
If wrinkles are something you’ve started noticing book in a consultation to discuss further

If your lips feel drier in winter, you’re not imagining it.
Cold weather, wind and indoor heating can leave lips feeling rough, dehydrated and less smooth than usual.
But sometimes it’s not just the weather..
The lips naturally change over time, which can also make dryness more noticeable.
If your lips aren’t looking or feeling the way they used to, book a consultation with our team.

Different skin tones need different approaches
For example if you have a darker skin tone your under eyes tend to present as dark circles so a treatment like rejuran would help to brighten and lighten that hyperpigmentation
Where as if you have a lighter skin tone your under eyes tend to have a blue or purple tone so rejuran helps to soften that and gives a refreshed look.

From comprehensive consultations and facial assessments to skin conversations and personalised plans, weekends are one of our favourite times in clinic.
No two faces are the same, which is why every appointment starts with understanding what’s actually contributing to the changes you’re seeing, whether that’s skin, muscle movement, facial structure, volume loss or overall facial balance.
Because before creating a plan, we believe in understanding the why.
Open weekends at both our Mt Lawley and Jindalee clinics 🤍

Have you ever looked in the mirror and felt like your face looks a little more tired, hollow or less supported than it used to?
One area we often assess during a consultation is the temples.
The temples sit at the sides of the forehead and play an important role in how the upper face is supported. As we age, changes can occur through this area which may contribute to a more hollow appearance and can influence the way the brows, cheeks and upper face are perceived overall.
That’s why we don’t just look at one feature in isolation. We assess the face as a whole to understand the different factors that may be contributing to the changes you’re noticing.
Every face is different, which is why a thorough consultation is always the first step.
