We’re looking for a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team! 🤍
We’re looking for someone who:
✨ Holds a minimum Certificate III in Hairdressing
✨ Has at least 3 years’ experience working in a full-service salon
✨ Has full legal working rights in Australia
✨ Takes pride in their work and genuinely loves hairdressing
✨ Is confident, friendly and professional with clients
✨ Is reliable and works well as part of a team
✨ Is open to learning new techniques and new ways of doing things
✨ Has a positive attitude and wants to grow with the salon
Position: Casual
📍 Location: Beaumaris Blvd, Ocean Reef – next to IGA and opposite the pharmacy

✨ I have some very exciting news to share! ✨
After many years of welcoming you into my home salon, Mercia’s Hair Studio is taking a very big step… I’m moving into my own, bigger salon space! 💚
From Monday, 26 October, you’ll find me at:
📍 Beaumaris Blvd, Ocean Reef
Next to IGA and opposite the pharmacy.
This is such an exciting (and slightly nerve-racking! 😅) move for me, and I honestly couldn’t have got to this point without all of you who have supported my little home salon over the years. I’m incredibly grateful. 💚

As part of the move, there will also be a small adjustment to my pricing. I’ve been very fortunate to keep my prices unchanged for the past three years, but with the move into a larger salon and the rising costs of products and running the business, it’s now time for a little adjustment. I’ll be sharing my updated price list with you before the move so you have plenty of notice.

What won’t be changing is the personal, friendly service you’re used to, just with a lot more room and a lovely new space for me to welcome you into! ✨

Thank you again for being part of my journey over the years. This really is a huge new chapter for me, and I’m so excited to take you all along with me.
