• Finish and fade – Does the tan wear off evenly and maintain its tone over several days, or does it lose depth too quickly?
• Feel on the skin – Is it comfortable once dry, or do clients mention feeling itchy or tight?

Testing across multiple skin types is crucial because one result never tells the full story. What looks flawless on your skin might fade unevenly or appear orange on someone else. Real testing means observing tone, wear, and comfort on different bodies and skin conditions before deciding if that solution truly deserves a place in your salon.
