It is a strange thing how much power we give to people who don't even know us. You can be sitting there, having a perfectly decent evening, and then one comment from a stranger or some idiot online ruins the whole mood. You find yourself rehearsing arguments in your head or wondering why they don't like you, and before you know it, an hour of your life is just gone.
Ricky Gervais has always been the king of cutting through that nonsense. This photo of him with his dog says more than a three-hour stand-up special ever could. He looks completely at peace because he’s focused on something real. A dog doesn't care if your last joke landed or if you've got a controversial opinion; they just want to be near you. They are the ultimate antidote to the noise of the world.
The quote at the bottom is a bit of a reality check. We all know life is short, but we don't always act like it. We treat our time like it's an infinite resource, wasting it on people who wouldn't give us the time of day if we were on fire. Ricky’s point is that every second you spend worrying about a critic is a second you aren't spending laughing, or relaxing, or just being present.
In After Life, we saw this play out in the most grounded way possible. Tony was a man who had lost everything that mattered, and the only thing keeping him tethered to the world was his dog. It wasn't the opinions of his neighbors or his boss that saved him; it was that simple, quiet connection. It’s a reminder that the world is full of "idiots," but they only have as much power as you give them.
At the end of the day, if you’ve got a roof over your head, a drink in your hand, and a dog that thinks you’re the center of the universe, you’re doing alright. The rest of the world can think whatever it wants while you're busy enjoying the few precious moments you actually have.

Massage kills pain :- 5 biggest problems massage fixes

things to NOT DO if you have high cortisol (or you've lived with long-term stress)👇🏼

anytime you perceive danger, your body’s stress hormones surge 🥹

and if you experience constant stress, your body can stay stuck in its stress response which keeps your stress hormones high 😮‍💨

it’s common to engage in activities that increase your cortisol levels without knowing it (like chewing gum, cold plunges, high intensity exercise, over-scheduling yourself, or hot yoga) 🤯

when your stress hormone cortisol is high, you’ll notice symptoms like:
✨muscle tension
✨weight gain (especially in your stomach)
✨cravings for salty/sweet food
✨nervous behaviors like checking things over and over
✨swollen, puffy face
✨acne / skin flare ups
✨easy bruising
✨severe fatigue
✨difficulty concentrating
✨muscle weakness
✨gut issues
✨increased heart rate / blood pressure
✨sleep issues
✨feeling bloated

the good news is that you can release excess cortisol and rebalance your hormones naturally in 30 days with somatic exercises 🥰

somatic exercises cause a huge physical & emotional release that clear the excess cortisol & stress out of your body ✌🏼

after you release, you’ll suddenly be out of emergency mode 👑

your hormones will be rebalanced, lowering your cortisol levels and removing the blockage to sleeping well, concentrating, weight loss, etc. 💖

rebalancing your hormones also regulates your menstrual cycle & releases muscle tension ✨

if you’ve never released stress out of your body before, it’s like living in a house that you’ve never cleaned (except that house is your body) 😮‍💨

your body doesn’t have to feel this way anymore 🙌🏼

do you want to rebalance your hormones & release the excess cortisol from your body?

get guided through the step by step 👇🏼

lower your cortisol (4 course bundle) 🔗 on profile 💖✌🏼💖
