We completely understand that life happens. People get sick. Emergencies happen. Plans unexpectedly change. And sometimes, cancelling an appointment at the last minute is unavoidable.

We will always be compassionate about that.

But we also ask for the same compassion and understanding in return.

When an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or someone doesn’t attend, the impact on our small business is exactly the same, regardless of the reason.
We reserved that time especially for you. With little or no notice, we often don't have the opportunity to offer it to another client who would have loved that appointment.

And while your 50% deposit helps, it doesn't cover the income lost from an appointment we had set aside for you.
Our cancellation policy isn't about deciding whether your reason is “good enough.”
It’s about protecting the time we reserved for you and keeping the business sustainable.

We would never suggest that someone intentionally became sick, had an emergency or experienced something unexpected. But unfortunately, even if it's unintentional, it still impacts the business.

So when we enforce our cancellation policy, please know that it isn't because we don't care about your circumstances. We do. ❤️

What we ask is that you don't make us feel guilty for enforcing a policy you agreed to when booking, or ask us to absorb the financial loss because what happened wasn't your fault.

Sometimes nobody is at fault — but the loss still exists.

As a small business, we simply can't continually absorb that loss ourselves.
We value our clients enormously, and our policies help us protect our team, our livelihood, and our ability to keep providing the level of care you expect from us.
