Aftercare is just as important as choosing the right laser!

We personally recommend applying your aftercare gel as many times as possible over the next 7 days post each removal session.
A mineral SPF is a non negotiable. This is because we want to protect your skin during this process without trapping any heat beneath the skin like other SPF’s do. Following our aftercare info sheet will allow you to have the most efficient results.

If you are removing a large area, you may apply a covered ice pack and take an anti histamine to assist with any swelling.
Keeping your body hydrated from within will aid in moving the pigment swiftly through your lymphatic system.

Our aftercare pack includes; tote bag, aftercare gel, mineral spf and extra goodies you will soon unpack.

Most clients come in saying my eyebrows are blue / grey in colour and they would like them to be removed.

The main problem with these hues is the black pigment (black carbon) which is what shows you the grey and blue tones on the skin. All pigment used with cosmetic tattooing/ PMU on eyebrows contain red and yellow to warm the colour up, these colours are not as stable as black.

Due to environmental factors such as the sun, they will breakdown the red, orange and yellow colours quickly, leaving behind the ashy tones in your eyebrow tattoo.

Firstly, NO tattoo can be removed in just one session. There is no definitive number session no matter the laser technicians skill set. We will always state that removals may take up to 12 sessions as a worse case scenario. These appointments are spaced at a minimum of 6-9 weeks apart. It is usually a lot less sessions than 12 however, accurate amount of session quotes can only be given once the first and sometimes second session is healed.

When it comes to laser removal, we aim to remove the black first as all tattoo inks and pigments contain black no matter how minuscule the amount. This is removed on a 1064 nm filter, whereas reds are done on 532 nm filter.

We treat these in separate sessions for many reasons
◦ Skin integrity / skin fatigue and risk of burning and blistering.
◦ One pass per session only with no overlapping of the laser treatment area.
◦ Different pigments/ ink require a different frequency of laser treatment level whether it be depth in the skin or age of the tattoo.
