🇻🇳 Our Vietnam adventure began in Ho Chi Minh City… and it was the perfect introduction to this incredible country.

One of the places that left the biggest impression on us was the War Remnants Museum. It’s emotional, thought-provoking and gives a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s history through powerful photographs, military equipment and personal stories. While confronting at times, it’s a place I think everyone should visit to better appreciate what the country has been through.

We also visited the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, and it’s hard to believe what we saw. This vast underground network stretched for more than 250 kilometres and was built almost entirely by hand. It contained living areas, kitchens, hospitals and meeting rooms, allowing people to survive underground during the war.

Crawling through a section of the tunnels gave us just a small glimpse into what life must have been like. It was fascinating, humbling and something our family will never forget.

Ho Chi Minh City is so much more than its busy streets and amazing food. It’s a city full of resilience, history and stories that stay with you long after you leave.

Good morning from beautiful Da Nang, Vietnam! ☀️🌴
This photo was taken at 5:30am while we watched the sunrise over Da Nang Beach. It was absolutely worth the early start—seeing the beach already full of people swimming, walking and enjoying the morning was such an incredible experience.

I’m currently taking a little break and recharging, but I’ll be back in the salon from 20th July.
