🐾 The secret is finally out! 🐾

A few of you guessed it… and you were right! We’d love to introduce the newest member of our salon family, Billy! 🐶

He’s already settling in perfectly and keeping us entertained with his playful little personality. We can’t wait for some of you to meet our sweet salon pup over the coming months.

Don’t worry though, Billy won’t be at every appointment. He’ll only be around for clients who are happy to say hello, and we’ll always be mindful of anyone with allergies or who isn’t comfortable around dogs.

Please join us in giving Billy a big warm welcome! 🐾

A little update from Tamara’s Hair & Beauty

As of 1st July 2026, there will be a small price adjustment across my services.

With the rising cost of products, ongoing education, cost of living and increasing business expenses, this adjustment will allow me to continue providing the high quality service and experience that I pride myself on.

I am so incredibly grateful for the continued support, loyalty and trust from all of my beautiful clients over the years. It truly means the world to me and my little business.

WHY BRIDAL TRIALS MATTER

The first photo was taken at the bridal trial, the second on the wedding day.

A bridal trial doesn’t always have to be the exact finished look straight away. Sometimes it’s about creating the vision together and working out the small adjustments that make all the difference for both hair and makeup.

For this bride, we loved the hairstyle at the trial, but on the wedding day we added extensions for a little more fullness and softness through the bun which completed the final look beautifully. Makeup trials can be the same. Sometimes it’s small changes like adjusting the skin finish, lash style, tones or overall softness that help bring everything together perfectly for the wedding day.

At a trial we can:
• Adjust volume, texture or placement in the hair
• Add or remove extensions
• Refine makeup tones, coverage or overall finish
• Try different lash styles or levels of glam
• Make sure everything suits the dress, accessories and overall vibe
• Work out what feels most comfortable and “you”

Trials also help take the pressure off the wedding morning because we’ve already worked through the details together beforehand.

By the wedding day, we already know exactly what works, making the morning feel relaxed, seamless and stress free.

I took a little step back from work and spent some quality time down south with my family and a few close friends. Lots of fresh air, cosy weather, good food and making memories with my babies.

Feeling very grateful for the little reset before heading back into the salon this week with lots of fresh winter colours, cuts and a few upcoming bridal trials.

School ball and special occasion bookings are always some of my favourite styles to create.

Some days are weddings and soft glam mornings…
Other days are spent behind the chair creating fresh colour, big transformations and helping my beautiful clients feel like themselves again.
