2026: More aligned. More intentional. More me.
This year is about becoming more aligned with myself, my purpose and the way I want to work.
I help people who are stressed, overwhelmed and mentally exhausted — people who are looking for something different and need a chance to get out of their heads and reconnect with themselves and their bodies.
My approach starts with listening.
Before I treat, I want to understand what is going on for you. We talk about what you’re experiencing, what may be contributing to it and what you need. From there, I create a tailored Bowen Therapy treatment based on you, your body and your individual needs.
The treatment is only part of the process. I also provide aftercare guidance and, where appropriate, recommend simple self-care or wellness products to support you between appointments.
I want you to feel listened to, cared for and involved in your own journey.
2026 is also about me becoming more confident in my approach and putting healthier boundaries in place.
I’m learning that I don’t have to please everyone. I can say no without explaining myself. I can protect my energy and still care deeply about people.
And perhaps most importantly, I’ve learned that we all need to take time for ourselves. We can’t keep pouring from an empty cup. Sometimes we need to put our own oxygen mask on first.
So if you’re feeling exhausted, disconnected or simply know that something needs to change, you’re welcome here.
Follow along, connect with me, or reach out when you’re ready to take some time for yourself.

Have you ever wondered why some people want all the information before they make a decision… while others just want to know, “Yep, sounds good — when can I book?”

I recently learnt about 3 different buyer personalities, and I thought this was actually really interesting when it comes to Bowen too

The Knower
You know what you want, you like things clear and straightforward, and you value your time. You want to understand enough to make a decision and then get moving

The Thinker
You like to take your time, ask questions, understand the “why” and have all the information before deciding.

The Feeler
Trust and connection are really important to you. You want to feel comfortable, cared for and know that you're in good hands.
And guess what?

I’m a Knower!
I like things clear, practical and efficient. But being a Knower doesn’t mean everyone I work with is the same — and that's something I really value in my Bowen business.
So I try to meet you where YOU are.
If you're a Knower, I'll give you clear information, help you understand your options and let you get on with it.

If you're a Thinker, closely followed by feeler🤣. I'm happy to explain, answer questions and give you the time and information you need to feel confident in your choices.
And if you're a Feeler, I'll make sure you feel listened to, cared for and comfortable. Building that trust and connection is a really important part of what I do.

Actually, with most of my clients it's a mixture.
At the beginning, I tend to explain more because I want you to understand what's happening and feel involved in your treatment. As we get to know each other, I want you to be able to relax, switch off and let your body do what it needs to do.
I also like giving you tools to take home with you — from my Bowen after-care do's and don'ts to things like shower steamers, aromatherapy rollers, magnesium sprays and soaps to help support that feeling of looking after yourself.
Because for me, Bowen isn't just about the time you're on the table.

It's about listening to you, involving you and helping you feel empowered in your own wellbeing.
Now I'm curious…

Which one do you think you are — Knower, Thinker or Feeler? 👇
Tell me in the comments — I’d love to know!

It’s soooo Soon

Thank you, September!

What an amazing month it has been!

September brought six beautiful new clients into my business, and I’m so grateful for every single person who trusted me to be part of their wellness journey.

This month has also been about growing my business in new ways and finding some amazing wellness products to add to what I offer. I love the idea that the care doesn’t have to stop when you leave the treatment room — you can take a little piece of that self-care home with you too.
I’m so grateful for every booking, every conversation, every recommendation, every new connection and every person who continues to support Brooke Mason Bowen Therapy.

September, you’ve been pretty special.
Thank you for an amazing month — I can’t wait to see what October brings!

A spider doesn't need to sit on every strand to know something has changed.

Information travels through the entire web.

The body is also highly interconnected.

Changes in one area can influence activity elsewhere through muscles, fascia, movement patterns and nervous system responses.

One of the fascinating aspects of Bowen Therapy is learning to view the body as a connected network rather than a collection of separate parts.

One thing I’m learning in business is that caring deeply about people doesn’t mean I have to please everyone.

As a Bowen therapist, I genuinely want my clients to feel heard, supported and cared for. That part of me will never change.

But I’m also learning that there’s a difference between caring for people and over-giving to people.

I don’t have to say yes to everything.
I don’t have to make everyone happy.
I don’t have to constantly prove my value.
I can care deeply about my clients while still having boundaries, valuing my time and trusting the work I do.

And maybe that’s something we all need to remember — you can be a kind person without constantly putting yourself last.

This is one I’m definitely working on in my own business journey.

Market days are a little different now.

A little longer to set up.

A lot more products

A lot more interest

And a whole lot of packing up at the end.

Your calves have earned an interesting nickname: the body's "second heart."

Not because they're actually a heart, but because every time you walk, climb stairs, or rise onto your toes, your calf muscles help move blood back up your legs against gravity.

It's a reminder of something Bowen students discover early in their training:

The body isn't a collection of separate parts.

Everything is connected.

Muscles influence movement.

Movement influences circulation.

The nervous system influences movement.

And sometimes the most familiar parts of the body turn out to be doing far more than we realise.

One of the fascinating things about learning Bowen Therapy is that it encourages you to look at the body differently — not just as individual muscles and joints, but as an interconnected system constantly adapting and responding.

Source: The calf muscles are sometimes referred to as the body's "second heart" because of their role in assisting venous return from the lower limbs through the calf muscle pump mechanism (Mei et al., IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine, 2020; and Padberg et al., Phlebology, 2020).
