Gratitude Post.

Update for those asking how my recovery is progressing. I do apologise that my responding is a bit limited or if I forget after reading a message to answer. I’m on a whirlwind of medication and my mind is definitely a bit foggy. 🤪

So we realised after 24hours of being home from hospital that I just needed my Mum. Never too old to have Mumsy come to the rescue. The kids and I moved to their house for full time care while Beno finished up his swing offshore and Mathias worked and stayed home with Austin and Maizy 🐾

After 5 days at mums I was looking forward to returning home when I had an “episode” last Thursday that required some assistance from paramedics. So I remained there under supervision for a few more days before being able to return home. Mum and Ross have been absolutely amazing. Their strength and resilience to handle a crisis is phenomenal. 🙌🏻

I’ve always known my mums a legend but she’s out done herself with her constant care while I was there ❤️

They have now set off on their holiday adventure and I hope they have the best trip ever!! I’ve been left in the capable hands of Mathias, Evie (Devan for extra kisses and cuddles) my Family and Wolfpack. I pretty much sleep most of the time, with the odd couple of hours awake to do my exercises, have a feed and take a shower. Each activity earns me another nap straight after so I’m getting plenty of rest 😴

Everyone’s hair appointments in the salon have been taken care of by some beautiful hairdressers from De Lorenzo Salons I educate in or the Hair @ Village Girls. So thank you to them all for sharing their time with my clients so they can continue to have beautiful hair in my absence 💇🏼‍♀️

We’ve received so many offers of help and our freezer is now stocked up with healthy home cooked meals to get us through the next 2 weeks. While Mum and Ross are away, we are accepting these kind offers with open arms as I realise my capabilities right now are very limited. 🤕

I am truly surrounded by the very best people who are making returning to my own home for this recovery as stress free as possible. There’s too many of you to list but you all know who you are and I love you very much ❤️
