Can I tell you about the part of the appointment my clients talk about most?
It’s not the colour. It’s not even the blowdry although that’s pretty good too.
It’s the basin.
A proper head massage while your treatment rinses through. Warm water, pressure on the scalp, fingers working from root to end. The kind that makes your eyes heavy and your shoulders drop.
Then a hot towel. Steamy, warm, wrapped around your hair while everything does its thing.
Most people have never had this at a hair appointment. Washed, rinsed, back in the chair in under two minutes.
This is different.
This is the part where you actually switch off. Where the grocery list and the kids’ lunches and everything else just... stops.

Your straightener is probably set too hot AND you're not using heat protectant.
I'm not judging. I'm just telling you because no one else will.
Heat protectant sits between your hair and the heat. Without it you're essentially ironing dry fabric. It doesn't matter how good your colour is if the hair underneath is fried.
This is one of my favourites. Joico Heat Hero. Thermal protection up to 230 degrees, adds shine and it smells amazing. I stock it in the salon if you want to grab one at your next appointment.
This is the one thing I wish every single client would do at home. Every time. No exceptions.

When did you last have three hours that were just for you?
No kids pulling at you. No emails. No one needing anything.
Just you, your hair and someone who's actually present the whole time.
That's what every appointment here feels like. And honestly, most of my clients say they forget how much they needed it until they're sitting in that chair.

She came in with a handful of inspo pics and a lot of "I'm not sure, what do you think?"
Faded colour. Some grey coming through. Curly, dry hair that never quite did what she wanted.
We went with scattered foils through the length, glossed everything into that rich warm brunette she was after. Soft. Not overdone. Nothing that would wash her out.
The next day she messaged to say she'd gotten compliments at work.
A few months later she booked again sent me a photo of her curls still holding days after her appointment. The satin bonnet had worked.
That kind of follow-up is everything to me.

Frizz isn't your personality.
But god, it kind of takes over doesn't it.
