Rustic Blend Hair Studio

Nineteen years ago, with the help of my amazing parents I decided to open a salon and in late 2007 Rustic Blend was born.

Those early days were all about building our clientele. There was plenty of waiting around at first, but little by little the chairs filled with laughter, conversation and friendships. So many clients became friends and many became family.

Over the years, life changed. I met my husband, Jeremy, we started Jezman Constructions together and then along came our two beautiful boys. I couldn’t have balanced it all without my incredible salon team, especially Deb and Tayla, who have been with me since the very beginning.

The last five years have definitely been the busiest. Three days in the salon, three days in the office at Jezman Constructions, running a household, school commitments and according to the boys in my life…the most important thing…FOOTY! Weekly training, game days and making sure we watch as many AFL or NRL games possible. Life has been chaotic and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

As much as I have loved every minute of this journey, it’s time for me to simplify life a little. I want to spend more time with my family and friends, be there for every footy game, put more energy into growing Jezman Constructions and hopefully enjoy a few more weekends away in the caravan.

Today marks the end of this chapter for Rustic Blend.

While I’m incredibly proud of everything Rustic Blend has become over the past 19 years, I know it’s time for a new chapter.

To every single person who has walked through our doors, whether it was once or hundreds of times…thank you. A special thank you to those who have been with me since I was a young 16 year old apprentice. Your loyalty, friendship and support have meant more than you’ll ever know.

And finally, to my incredible team over the 19 years — Deb, Tayla, Ash, Hayley, Kaela, Caitlyn, Paige, Chantelle, Pam and Lauren THANK YOU. You have helped make Rustic Blend what it is today and I will be forever grateful.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for 19 unforgettable years. Here’s to new beginnings, exciting adventures and whatever comes next.
