Think you have insomnia? It might actually be one of these habits... 😴

Sleep isn't just about how many hours you get—it's about the quality of those hours. Small changes to your evening routine can make a huge difference to how rested you feel the next day.

And before you think I'm pointing fingers... I've done every single one of these at some point too. Late-night chocolate? Yep. Scrolling in bed? Guilty. Coffee a little too late? Definitely.
The goal isn't perfection—it's simply being aware of the habits that might be working against you. If you're struggling with your sleep, try changing just one thing at a time and see how your body responds.

Which one do you think is having the biggest impact on your sleep?

Did you miss out last time? 🌿

Our Winter Solstice Retreat sold out, and the feedback afterwards reminded us exactly why we do this.

A day to slow down. To reconnect. To move your body. To breathe. To be nourished. To leave feeling lighter than when you arrived.

Now it's time for BLOOM: Spring Equinox.

Join us for a beautiful half-day of yoga, Qigong, a tea ceremony, acupuncture, sound healing, nourishing food and connection as we welcome a new season.

If you've been telling yourself you'll make more time for you... this is your chance.

We often think of acupuncture as something only adults need... but kids can benefit too.

From growing pains and tummy troubles to headaches, sleep, anxiety and more, acupuncture can be a gentle way to support their little bodies.

Every treatment is adapted to the child, using the fewest needles necessary and always at a pace they're comfortable with.

Tiny needles. Big benefits. 🤍

One question I get asked a lot is…

"Do you drink alcohol?"

The answer is yes.

I genuinely enjoy sharing a drink with friends every now and then. It's a chance to relax, connect and celebrate.

Do I need alcohol to unwind? No.
Do I drink every day? No.
Every week? No.

For me, it's about balance, not restriction.

As a health practitioner, I'm not here to tell you that you can never enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail. But I am here to educate you on what happens when alcohol becomes a regular habit.

Drinking every day can:
• Disrupt your sleep (even if you fall asleep faster)
• Increase inflammation throughout the body
• Affect liver function and hormone balance
• Raise your risk of anxiety and low mood over time
• Slow your body's ability to recover and heal
• Contribute to weight gain and digestive issues

Your body is incredibly resilient. It's what we do consistently that has the biggest impact on our health—not the occasional drink shared with good company.

Health isn't about being perfect. It's about making choices that support your body most of the time, while still enjoying life along the way.

What's your relationship with alcohol? Has it changed over the years?
