Hey there! It's been a while since I introduced myself, and given there are so many new faces, I thought it was time to say HEY!

My name is Shantelle and I am the founder and co-owner of Salt & Halo Hair Collective alongside my husband Nathan. I rent a chair in a beautiful collective space in Secret Harbour alongside other incredible hair and beauty boss babes within THE YARD - which, for those of you that know, the loaded teas are insanely delicious and addictive!!! It is a very warm and welcoming space where you will feel supported and relaxed from the second you walk in. I myself, have been hairdressing for 24 years both all over Perth and Redcliffe QLD as well as being an educator part time at Taylor Weir in the city. I specialise in colour and hair extensions and am always learning new things to bring back to you for continuous improvement with my craft.

I had the most incredible day Tuesday. Taylor Weir organised some incredible training for us with an INCREDIBLE trichologist who blew our freaking minds!!!! I am a lot more aware of scalp conditions, how lifestyle factors affect your scalp and hair health and how to help you should any issues arise. I think we all know how food can impact our health and bodies, but how much it actually affects is insane!! So in short, eat the rainbow (and no I don't mean skittles), hydrate your body, eat your necessary protein intake and I will not be touching skittles, Pringles or seafood sticks ever again.
