The Plasmatic Effect®, what is actually happening to cause that beautiful road map that follows a DMK enzyme treatment...

DMK Enzyme Treatments provide dual action: they in-
fluence the lymph nodes to initiate a drainage effect
and promote capillary dilation to nourish cells with
a sudden rush of freshly oxygenated blood. As the
blood vessels and lymph nodes respond to the En-
zyme Treatment, a peculiar response is produced on
the skin’s surface called the Plasmatic Effect®.
The most common indication of the Plasmatic Effect® is the “road map,” where capillaries stand out in red
branching striations. This proves that the effects of the Enzyme Treatment have gone deep enough for
total dilation of the peripheral capillaries.
The Plasmatic Effect® can appear in various forms:
• Angiogenic Type – Red striations due to dilated capillaries, as shown in the photo above.
• Proliferative type – If the skin is seen under a convex lens, small white striations are found on
certain skin segments.
• Osmotic Type – Appears as fluid-filled bulges or “bubbles” on certain skin segments.
• Granular Type – Appears as small uniform micronodules, especially among parts of pores;
often, these micronodules are pre-deposited adipose fats or “waxes” in the deeper recesses of
the pores.
• Interstitial Type – The entire skin appears firm, like porcelain.
• Formative Type – The entire skin appears “lifted,” as if elevated from the base.
The Plasmatic Effect® can manifest in any combination of these forms, depending on the client’s skin
genotype, phenotype, age, topography, hormonal levels, and overall health.
Some clients may not display
the Plasmatic Effect® due to hydration levels and other factors, but this does not indicate that the Enzyme Treatment was ineffective.

EFAs (essential fatty acids) are part of every cell membrane in the body, helping maintain structure, fluidity, and function.
In the skin, they are vital for maintaining the barrier, preventing water loss, and supporting overall skin function.

EFAs work to:

Repair and strengthen the skin barrier, waterproofing, and preventing TEWL. This is even more necessary in the winter season as our skin naturally produce less oil and water levels decline as we use more heating which dehydrates the skin.
Repair every Cell membrane in the body.
Improve the Extracellular matrix- to improve the volume size of the epidermis.
Reduce inflammation within the body, this is so valuable when undergoing any form of skin revision treatments.
