Salty pelican

Adding qualifications and a variety of modalities to my treatment portfolio is something I enjoy doing. Today was 8hours of learning, confidence building, confirmation of my progress and identifying the direction of my clinic goals.
I have a great interest in the pain gate theory and now I have evidence based knowledge in Electrotherapy; symptom modification goals, contraindications, mechanisms, methods, PNS and CNS, acute and chronic pain, rehabilitation of inhibited or treatment of hypertonic muscles at cellular and/or nerve level.

Lots of words to say I now know how to use a fancy machine to make your ouchie feel better 🤩🤷‍♀️🫶

Is the cold weather making your muscles shiver 🥶 and the thought of getting your kit off for a treatment is stopping you. Then Look 👀 no further than the Salty Pelican. The room is heated, the table is warmed, and there are heat packs at the ready. I also offer treatments that don’t require skin to skin contact; Passive Stretching, Deep Tissue Compression, Muscle Energy Techniques and Thermotherapy.

Salty is checking out the new UV sanitation towel warmer. At Salty Pelican Remedial and Relaxation Massage Therapy Clinic, cleanliness is very important to us. After enjoying a lovely relaxing massage with warming essential oils or remedial treatment with massage wax, I use a nice warm towelette to gently remove excess product. Be assured all linens and towels are changed between every client. Face shields are one use only and towelettes are put through the UV sterilisation unit. No bird flu for this old Salty.

Has the weekend weather cancelled your plans? Not sure what to do instead? I know the perfect indoor activity … Full body relaxation masaage, finally get some attention on those sore shoulders or treatment on the hip that is giving you jip. Salty Pelican is open Saturday and Sunday. DM or follow the link on the page to make a booking

Just because remedial massage therapy is serious business, doesn’t mean the uniform has to be 🤩

I have a sign. I have A SIGN! A SIGN!! Me.., I have a sign. So I cleaned the window and opened the blinds, because Salty Pelican has a SIGN. And this is your sign to book a remedial or relaxation massage with me today.

Are you even really dressed for work if you don’t have on a pair of wacky socks 🤣
