From this weekend, we’re introducing a new automated phone system to help answer your calls when our admin team is with patients or after hours.

Behind the scenes, it’s a bespoke automation solution built specifically for our clinics — connected directly to our booking system, so it can help with things like appointment reminders, recalls, and general enquiries, even when our lovely reception team can’t get to the phone straight away.

Our goal is simple: to make it easier for you to reach us, book in, and stay on top of your appointments — without the wait. Nothing about the care you receive changes; this is just an extra hand behind the scenes so you’re never left on hold.

As with anything new, there may be a few teething issues while we fine-tune it — so we appreciate your patience in the first few weeks. And if you do end up chatting with our new system, we’d genuinely love to hear how it went. Your feedback helps us make sure it’s actually working for you.

A landmark genetic study analysing over a million women has uncovered new biological mechanisms behind endometriosis — reinforcing what many patients have long known: this condition is systemic, not just gynaecological.

Key findings:
🧬 Dozens of new genetic regions linked to endometriosis risk, nearly doubling what was previously known
🌍 First-ever identification of genes linked to endometriosis specifically in women of African ancestry — a group historically under-represented in this research
