Stop. Brushing. Hair. Dry.
It causes damage & frizz.
Brush your hair on wash day while applying conditioner.
Only exceptions is if you're blessed with knotty hair and or school children. If so wet your hair with a spray bottle of water & diluted conditioner then brush gently. Start brushing from your ends first, then working your way to the top. Watch this cute as video of how to brush hair!

-raw oils(repels water)
-drying alcohol(dehydrates)
-silicone(forms a coating)
-waxes(forms a coating)
-mineral oil(forms a coating)
-lather shampoo(strips good oil)

It takes time! I still have a long way to go, but oh my it's been worth it!
Don't be disheartened if your curls aren't perfect after the first session, it's been years of damage, sometimes it will take years to bring them back!

I base my business loosely off the Curly Girl Method, why loosely I say? I completely agree with everything the method contains, but I also know sometimes it's unattainable.
What I do that's part of the CGM
- Approved products
- Product application
- No straghtners or curlers
- No hair ties
What I do that's not CGM
- Low poo shampoo
- Brushes (but there's more to that)
- I don't always wear my hair curly
- I wash my hair allot
- Bleach my hair (i have decided no more bleach🙊)
