Not all skin needling treatments are designed to create days of downtime. 🤍
One of the biggest misconceptions is that every skin needling treatment has to be aggressive to be effective.
At LuxBodi, every treatment is customised to your skin, your concerns and even the downtime you have available.
For clients treating:
✨ Acne scarring
✨ Deep wrinkles
✨ Stretch marks
✨ Surgical scars
We’ll generally work at greater depths with a more corrective approach to break up scar tissue and stimulate collagen where it’s needed most.
But not everyone needs corrective skin needling.
Sometimes our goal is simply to create thousands of tiny micro-channels within the skin. These channels significantly enhance the absorption of professional active ingredients, allowing them to pe*****te deeper and work more effectively.
Exosomes are the perfect example of this. Rather than aggressively targeting collagen, we often perform a lighter skin needling treatment to create optimal pathways for the exosomes to reach the skin. We’re not a day spa, and we don’t pretend to be a medical clinic either.
Our specialty sits right in the middle.
We don’t do fluffy facials with hot hair oils, hand massages and relaxation rituals (and if that’s what you’re after, there are some incredible day spas that do it beautifully).
Our focus is treating skin and body concerns with evidence-based treatments and personalised treatment plans.
Whether it’s acne, pigmentation, rosacea, ageing, skin laxity or body contouring, every treatment has a purpose. Every recommendation is backed by education, science and experience, not trends.
But we also know where our scope ends.
If something doesn’t look right, isn’t healing as expected, or raises concerns beyond aesthetics, we’ll always refer you to the appropriate medical professional. Knowing when not to treat someone is just as important as knowing how to treat them.
That’s what being a good practitioner is.
So no… I can’t help if you need medical attention. 😂

We absolutely love having EVIE MAREE MCCLELLAND in the clinic. These days she lives in the US, so we only get to see her every couple of months 🥺. But when she’s home and can fit treatments into her schedule, we make the most of it.
She’s also the perfect example that incredible results don’t require significant downtime or monthly treatments.
