Vandermeer Hair was born from a desire to create beautiful hair in the slow lane. After many years of experience in busy salons, Carly envisioned a space where clients could enjoy a truly holistic approach to hair wellness. Somewhere they could melt into their chair and leave feeling nourished, relaxed, and renewed.

It was equally about creating a space where hairstylists would love to work. A calm, inspiring environment that supports their creativity, wellbeing, and passion for their craft.

After 8 wonderful years of running Vandermeer Hair, I’m excited to share a new chapter in our journey. We’re evolving into a collaborative creative space – a change designed to empower our talented team and support their growth as independent hair professionals.

| So, what does this mean for you? |

Not much will change in terms of your experience.

Our beloved salon vibe, aesthetic, and commitment to beautiful hair and warm service will remain exactly the same. You’ll still be seeing the same friendly faces – just with a little more freedom and flexibility on our end. Each stylist will now manage their own bookings, giving them more control and space to grow in their careers.

*If you have an upcoming appointment with Matt, it’ll be moved to his Fresha system and you’ll receive a confirmation soon.*
