Immediately after your first microblading/shading appointment, your brows will look darker, sharper and more defined than the final healed result — and that’s completely normal.

Over the next few weeks, the pigment will gradually soften and can fade by up to 50% as the skin heals. The colour becomes softer, the strokes settle into the skin, and the overall result looks much more natural.

This is also why the 6–8 week touch-up appointment is so important. Once the brows are fully healed, we can see how your skin has retained the pigment, perfect any areas that have faded, reinforce strokes where needed and make any small adjustments to the shape or colour.
