My son Ari is autistic, and he is the reason behind so much of what this brand stands for. He is the reason I think so deeply about sensory needs and creating wellness that feels accessible for different kinds of brains 💙
And today is Autistic Pride Day.
Research consistently shows that disabled and neurodivergent children experience higher rates of behavioural correction and negative feedback compared to their peers, especially in school environments.
Over time, constantly being told you are “too much,” “too sensitive,” “too loud” or “doing it wrong” can teach a nervous system that existing naturally is unsafe or incorrect.
That is why Autistic Pride matters so much ♾️
Autistic prople deserve to exist without constantly feeling like they need to apologise for who they are.
Understanding changes people far more deeply than correction ever will 🤍

Some children move through the world carrying far more sensory information than people realise. 🔊
A busy classroom, unexpected noise, uncomfortable clothing, strong emotions, transitions, smells, textures and social pressure can all build up inside the nervous system at the same time. What looks “small” from the outside can feel incredibly overwhelming inside a brain that is constantly processing everything deeply.
They’re not trying to be difficult, dramatic or attention-seeking. They are often trying incredibly hard to stay regulated in environments that were not designed with sensory-sensitive nervous systems in mind.
Sometimes the most powerful support is not teaching children to hide their discomfort better. Sometimes it is helping them feel safe enough to exist exactly as they are 💜
hands up if you’ve tried the hand resting thing from Bluey a million times ✋✋✋✋
Sydney to Victoria for the long weekend, but a small business never sleeps 💞
Wouldn’t change it for the world!

Winter changes the way your body uses energy, but modern life rarely makes space for that. Less daylight, colder weather and higher stress loads can leave nervous systems feeling depleted long before the week is over, especially for neurodivergent and already overwhelmed brains.
If you are feeling more exhausted, emotional, overstimulated or flat this winter, your body is not failing you. It is trying to keep up while carrying more than people can see.
Go gentle on yourself this winter 🤍

Sensory-sensitive people often avoid supplements for reasons that have nothing to do with motivation.
Sometimes it’s the texture.
the smell.
the aftertaste.
the swallowing.
the fear of a food tasting “wrong” afterwards.
the unpredictability.
the feeling of something sitting in your mouth or throat.
For a lot of autistic people, people with ARFID, ADHD or sensory processing differences, supplement routines can feel genuinely overwhelming on a nervous system level.
That’s why accessible wellness matters 🤍
Rediscovering who I am and what I want to be ❤️
anyone else 🤭
Hours earlier:
Me: ‘How was school today?’
My child: ‘Fine.’
Me: ‘Did you do anything fun?’
My child: ‘No.’

Okay but genuinely… why are supplements SO complicated 😭
Take them with food
But not with coffee
Some need fat
Some need vitamin c
Some cancel each other out
Some need to be taken every single day or there’s basically no point
And somehow we’re meant to remember all of this while also surviving work, kids, laundry, appointments, school emails and whatever else life throws at us
That’s a huge part of why we created sensapatch 💞
Because consistency shouldn’t depend on having the perfect routine or remembering seventeen tiny rules every morning
Sometimes making wellness easier is the wellness ✨
