RETINOL: YOUR SKIN’S RESET BUTTON ✨
If you’re serious about improving your skin long-term, retinol is one of the most powerful ingredients you can introduce.
Here’s what it’s actually doing beneath the surface:
✔️ Speeds up skin cell turnover = fresher, smoother skin
✔️ Helps reduce pigmentation = more even tone
✔️ Supports collagen production = firmer, stronger skin
✔️ Can regulate oil = great for congestion-prone skin
✔️ Anti-inflammatory + antibacterial = helps calm breakouts
But here’s the part that most of my patients get wrong…
Retinol is not a “more is more” situation.
Start low.
Go slow.
Stay consistent.
And always support your skin with hydration + SPF.
💡 My tip:
Think of retinol as a long game treatment, not a quick fix. The magic is in consistency, not strength.
**Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
**Always introduce gradually to minimise irritation.
**Daily SPF is non-negotiable.
