🇯🇲 Jamaica at the 2026 Commonwealth Games 🇯🇲

Jamaica delivered another outstanding performance at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, finishing 8th overall on the medal table with an impressive haul of 10 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals.

Represented by 76 athletes across 10 sports, including 47 athletes in track and field, Jamaica made its 19th Commonwealth Games appearance since debuting in 1934. Swimmer Collin McKenzie proudly served as the nation's flagbearer, while netball star Shamera Sterling-Humphrey carried the Queen's Baton during the Opening Ceremony.

Pictured is Samantha Hall, whose determination and talent created Jamaican sporting history. She became the first Jamaican woman to win a Commonwealth Games medal in the discus throw, claiming gold with a championship-winning throw of 61.66 metres.

Congratulations to all the Jamaican athletes who proudly represented the black, green and gold. Your achievements continue to inspire Jamaicans at home and across the world. 🇯🇲💚💛🖤

🇯🇲 History Made! Jamaica Stuns Australia to Reach the Commonwealth Games Netball Final! 🏐

The Sunshine Girls have defeated Australia 46–45 in a thrilling semi-final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, ending the Australian Diamonds' remarkable streak of reaching every Commonwealth Games gold medal match since netball was introduced in 1998.

Australia had a strong travelling contingent supporting the Diamonds at the Hydro, but the Scottish crowd embraced the underdog Jamaicans, creating a memorable atmosphere.

Now, the Sunshine Girls are just one victory away from history. Jamaica will take on New Zealand in the gold medal match, chasing the nation's first-ever Commonwealth Games netball gold medal.

Congratulations, Sunshine Girls, on an incredible performance! 🇯🇲
