I may be slowly sewing new clothes for all members of my family 😅

Did I enjoy sewing this shirt? Parts of it yes, others not so much.

Did I learn anything? Plenty!

Did I unpick anything, more often than I'd like to admit.

Am I happy with the end result? Yes, I think it looks great but there are things I now know I could do better on the next one....

Did I say the next one? Perhaps a smaller version for one of the little men in my life 💙

A bit of self care this week after two weeks of colds/flus/germs 😷🤒🤧

My very own lupin seed filled heat bag 💙 Perfect size to keep me warm on these colder nights, and of course made with left over fabrics scraps from one of my jacket projects 😍

Miss 6 has put an order in for her own 'little' one.
Guess that will be a project for tomorrow afternoon.

Yay!! It is almost complete 😍
I have been slowly plodding along with my wool jacket for a few weeks. Only finding the odd 1 afternoon a week to spend sewing has been a slower project than I would have liked.

All but a button and buttonhole left 😬

Actually, I'm still deciding whether I will need/or want a button 🤔

I was super keen to post some photos tonight and may have neglected to 'defluff' the jacket first. I'll make sure I do that for the 'finished' photo.

PS. I may have also started a cute little project with my leftover jacket fabrics 😍

How much fun is shirring!!?? SO MUCH FUN!!

I LOVED making this sweet summer dress for my sweet poppet.

It was super simple and so easy to do. Definitely looking forward to making my very own shirred dress (different style though).

Loved choosing fabric for this particular bomber jacket (*Insert LOTS of photos and phone calls back and forth, all whilst in Spotlight 😅).

I needed to find a fabric that felt soft so the decision of fine corduroy (maybe it's known as pinwale?) Was perfect. Its lightweight and soft texture, paired with a lining that was 'creative' in look was the perfect combination for my niece who just loves to draw!

Sent off to the jacket wearing weather Melbourne.
