ONE WHOLE YEAR IN THE BIG SHOP 🥹🫶

11 years of doing nails, 6 years since I took the leap into doing this full time from my little home studio and now ONE YEAR in our big shop!!

Over the years this business has grown, changed and evolved and honestly, so have I! There’s been plenty of stressful moments, questionable decisions HAHAHA and a whole lot of learning along the way. But looking back at where I started makes me pretty bloody proud 🥹

I think one thing I’ve learnt is that success looks different for everyone…. having a shop doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve made it. For me, a huge part of this move was getting to share a space with my husband, grow our businesses alongside each other and actually enjoy the life we’re working so hard to build + that alone means more to me than having the fanciest studio ever could 🫶

I’m forever grateful to every single person who’s supported me along the way. Whether you’ve sat in my chair, completed a course, shared my posts or simply cheered me on, you’ve all helped make this little dream a reality 🩷

Here’s to another year of cool nails, big ideas and figuring it all out as we go HAHAHA

A BIG congratulations to Danica for officially completing her Soft Gel Bootcamp 🥹💗

If you know Danica, you’ll know she puts so much passion into everything she gives a go. She loves learning, growing and pushing herself out of her comfort zone and that absolutely showed throughout her training 🥹✨

She was honestly such a dream to teach. She took every bit of feedback on board, asked questions, gave everything a red hot crack and kept trying until it clicked. And it SHOWED in her final set 👏

She’s already jumped straight into taking on models and clients so she can keep practising everything she learnt and seeing what she’s creating already makes me so bloody excited to see where she takes this!

Danica is also such a good reminder that you don’t need to be good at something before you start. You just need enough passion to WANT to learn.

No one starts nails already knowing how to do nails … You learn, practise and get better as you go. I started 13 years ago and I definitely didn’t know what I was doing then either 😂

So if you’re sitting there thinking “I’d love to do nails but I don’t think I’d be good at it”… You don’t need to be good yet. That’s literally what the training is for 😂💗
