One of the biggest mistakes people make at home is blow-drying without heat protection. Heat protection products help create a barrier between your hair and the heat from styling tools, reducing moisture loss, dryness, frizz and breakage.

Today we completed a beautiful half head of foils and a haircut that was definitely overdue!

One of the biggest misconceptions in hair care is that avoiding haircuts helps your hair grow longer. Unfortunately, the opposite is often true. Once split ends and dry ends appear, they don’t repair themselves without your effort. If left untreated, they can continue splitting further up the hair shaft, causing more breakage, thinner ends and the need for a bigger haircut later on.

Healthy hair starts with regular maintenance appointments and good home care. Moisture treatments, heat protection and professional products all play a role in keeping your hair looking and feeling its best between salon visits.

Box dye, old colours, chemical overlaps, previous bleaching, keratin treatments, colour removers, medications, mineral build up, and even past breakage can completely change how the hair reacts during a colour service.
