Karen the kidney tumour (as my friend calls it) has finally effed off!!!!
**** WARNING IM GOING TO RANT!*****
The past six years have been literally the worst of my life (health wise) I’ve tried so hard to remain as positive as I can throughout this journey, having spent thousands of dollars seeing a ton of different specialists, having loads of scans etc & even seeing many alternative doctors to try & find out what the hell was wrong with me!
I’ve had tests performed incorrectly and having to have horrible ones re done, been misdiagnosed a dozen times, I am suffering heart problems, migraines, it’s anxiety, it’s the menopause, I’m allergic to sugar etc etc all of which I dutifully followed but obviously never got any better!
Then they finally worked out what was wrong with me - after PRP missed my tumour over the 6 years - TWICE!
We’ve been through hell & back & I apparently was close to death a couple of times, it’s been very scary, but especially for poor David who’s had to be there throughout all of it, don’t know what I would have done without him, I actually think I wouldn’t be here 😞
But finally, it’s all over!
Unfortunately Karen didn’t weigh 20 kilos as I had hoped but all went well & I’m glad she’s gone! Loving being in intensive care, everyone so lovely! Hopefully I can stay a couple of weeks! 🤣🤣
They say you find out who your friends are at a time like this & I definitely agree with that, I have the best people in my life!!! ♥️
I’m so lucky that I’ve had the most amazing support through this journey from my friends & family, big thank you to you all, you will all be pleased to know that I will stop winging about Karen now!!! I promise! 🤣🤣🤣
Also, I’m not JUST putting it on here for the sympathy 🤣🤣🤣
But also to let you know that surgery went well & I will not be able to work in the salon for a few weeks now, thank you all so so much, I’m so greatful for all your support!!x♥️x
