It’s been one year since I opened the doors to my home salon space 🤎

What started as an idea and the help of so many incredibly smart and talented friends, Virtue has grown into a space I’m so proud of. Not just a salon, but something that feels truly mine.

Virtue has been my journey for almost three years now, and building this space has been such a special and defining part of that.

To every client who has supported me, sat in my chair, trusted me with their hair, and been part of this journey… thank you. It means more than you know.

First time in my chair for this lovely client, her previous visit to a salon left her with some harsh foil lines. A few little tweaks to correct them gave her the soft, natural blend she was after 🪄

It’s not always as much as you think to make sure those ends are fresh and healthy 🤝🏼

I twisted Katie’s arm and tried a gloss from a brand that was new to me, just for a little fun and experimentation. But after a few days, Katie let me know it wasn’t quite right for her, it felt a bit too ashy.
So, back in the chair she came, and we re-toned it to perfection! I’m so glad she reached out because at the end of the day, I want every client walking out in love with their hair.
It’s always okay to speak up. This is your hair, and it matters to me just as much as it does to you 🫶🏼
