1. Not knowing your skin type!â¨Your skin type affects how foundation sits and wears throughout the day. Using products designed for oily skin when youâre dry (or vice versa) can lead to patchiness, excess shine, or your makeup breaking apart faster.
1. Not prepping your skin correctly!â¨Skincare is the foundation of your foundation. Dry skin may need extra hydration, while oily skin benefits from lightweight moisturizers and proper priming. The wrong prep can make even the best foundation look uneven.
3. Using too littleâor too muchâfoundationâ¨Too little product may not provide the coverage youâre looking for, while too much can look heavy, cakey, and settle into fine lines. Start with a small amount and build coverage only where needed.
