Still buzzing from the incredible Juv’ae Cosmetic Collective Conference 2025.
This year’s theme, Mindset: Awareness, Presence, and Balance, was exactly what our industry needed. The response from our nurses from all across Australia was overwhelming in the best way.
The daily mindset sessions opened up real conversations around confidence, burnout, and belief.
The hands-on workshops gave nurses the chance to increase their clinical skills in a safe, supportive space.
And the incredible Jana Pittman had the entire room inspired with her powerful story of resilience and reinvention.
I was proud to take on multiple roles throughout the event, including MC, panel moderator, and hosting my own session focused on practical business skills to help nurses grow and succeed.
One of the most meaningful moments for me was closing the conference with a guided meditation on mindset, helping everyone reset before heading to an incredible after party to celebrate and conclude our time together.
Already looking forward to what next year will bring!

Excited to share that I’ve been announced as a speaker at the Aesthetic Business Masters Conference in both Melbourne and Sydney.
I’ll be speaking on The Power of Knowing Your Financial Numbers. It’s a topic I’m passionate about because I see firsthand how coaching clinicians to understand their financial numbers and targets can reduce stress and bring a real sense of control and confidence in their business.
If you’re coming along, I’d love to see you there. Come and say hi!

I was honoured to be invited to sit on the panel discussion ‘An Industry in Turmoil’ at Cosmedicon last week. Chaired by Dr John Flynn, the panel included Dr Gabi Caswell, Kate Evans (AHPRA), Sheri-Lee Knoop (CNA President), Dr David Kosenko, Dr Ian Holten, Tom Parmakellis, and myself. Interestingly, the TGA representative did not attend.
It was a robust discussion, but it was clear – and disappointing – that there was an agenda being moderated. The focus was heavily skewed towards picking apart the telehealth model, despite the fact that the majority of nurses operate under it compliantly and within regulations.
What wasn’t discussed, and should have been, were the pressing issues that impact all practitioners in this industry:
• Educational standards and the proliferation of short courses that leave practitioners with a false sense of safety.
• The real risks of undertrained clinicians performing high-risk treatments without adequate education.
• The growing threat of counterfeit products being illegally imported and administered, putting patient safety at serious risk.
These are the discussions that matter. These are the issues that impact patient safety and the integrity of our industry.
It’s time we shift the focus to what really needs to change.

Last weekend I had the privilege of joining Allergan Aesthetics as part of their Medical Affairs Advisory Board.
It was an incredible day of open discussion around a new treatment option, with the advisory board sharing their clinical opinion about the studies and suggested training strategies.
As the only Registered Nurse on the board — alongside esteemed colleagues like Plastic Surgeons Dr Peter Callan and Dr Frank Lin, Dermatologists Professor Greg Goodman and Dr Michaela Zallmann, Cosmetic Doctor Dr Stefania Roberts, Dr Sarah Hart, and Nurse Practitioner Pene Timberlake — I was proud to represent the nursing profession and contribute insights from the hundreds of nurses I support in my role as Nursing Director.
Nurses are a vital part of this industry, and ensuring our perspective is considered in these high-level conversations is something I’m deeply passionate about.
The cosmetic industry is shifting rapidly — with regulation, safety, education, and patient outcomes all in focus. It’s an exciting time, but also one that calls for strong collaboration across all professions.
Thank you to Allergan Aesthetics for creating space at the table for diverse voices and for recognising the contribution of nurses in shaping the future of aesthetics.

Honoured to be one of two nurses invited to join the “Industry in Turmoil” panel at Cosmedicon 2025, alongside some of the leading voices from plastic surgery, medicine, and AHPRA.
It’s no secret that our industry is facing some of its biggest challenges yet – from regulatory changes to public perception and safety concerns. Nurses are on the frontlines of these conversations, and it’s critical our voices are heard.
I’d love your support and your thoughts:
What do you think is the biggest issue facing the cosmetic industry right now?
Comment below or send me a DM – let’s make sure the nursing perspective is part of this conversation. ♥️

Last week, hosted its first-ever Open Days in both Adelaide and Perth, bringing together existing and aspiring cosmetic nurses for an insightful and real discussion about the industry.
I had the privilege of speaking at both events, diving into what it truly takes to build a career in medical aesthetics—not just from a clinical perspective, but the entrepreneurial mindset required to thrive.
We didn’t sugarcoat it. Success in this field takes dedication, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to compliance and best practice. But for those willing to put in the work, the rewards—both professionally and personally—are incredible.
Beyond the discussions, it was fantastic to network with so many passionate clinicians and hear firsthand the excitement and challenges they face.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended—we can’t wait to do it again!

🚨 An Absolute Must-Listen for Compliance Nerds Like Me! 🤓
A huge thank you to for their latest episode with the AHPRA Director of Cosmetic Surgery Enforcement Unit.
As someone who’s passionate about compliance and raising industry standards, I absolutely loved this episode. It was well-structured, insightful, and tackled so many of the unknowns in the regulatory space.
If you’re in aesthetics, understanding compliance isn’t optional—it’s essential. Highly recommend giving this one a listen. x

This week, we brought together 30 of Juv’ae’s Clinical Trainers from across Australia for an incredible day of collaboration, alignment, and growth in Sydney.
As Director of Nursing Leadership and Strategy, I had the privilege of co-hosting this event, ensuring our trainers are not only aligned with Juv’ae’s values but also equipped with the skills and confidence to lead and inspire.
The day was filled with strategic discussions on industry advancements and our evolving processes, team-building activities to strengthen our network of expert trainers, and advanced clinical training led by Dr Jimmy Wang from Hugel.
Every trainer left feeling empowered, supported, and ready to pass on their expertise to our growing cohort of Juv’ae nurses.
It’s an exciting time to be shaping the future of cosmetic nursing, and I’m incredibly proud to be at the forefront of this industry.
