Could the woman in this photo have imagined where she’d be 8 years later? 🥹
This morning, a post in the Business Mama Facebook group asked us to share a throwback photo from where our business or career began… and this is the photo I chose. ❤️
📸 17th June 2018 — just 2½ weeks into my business.
It was a Sunday and I’d caught the train from Traralgon to Newborough before travelling with a friend and a group of us from Gippsland to Melbourne for a training day.
Looking at this photo now, there are SO many things this version of me didn’t know yet.
For one… I definitely don’t have that much hair anymore. 😂
I had absolutely no idea that my daughter was already growing in my belly. That little baby I didn’t even know was there is now 7 years old and in Grade 2. 🥹
I was only 1½ months into a brand-new relationship with a man who I’ve now been with for more than 8 years — and we’ve now been married for just over a year. ❤️
And then there’s the business.
At only 2½ weeks in, I couldn’t possibly have known what it would eventually become.
Over the past eight years, it has changed, evolved and found a wonderful new niche that feels so much more like me and the things I care about.
And I definitely don’t think 2018 Summer would have believed that eight years later she’d still be running her own business, working in education support AND planning her very first Liptember Ladies High Tea Fundraiser High Tea Fundraiser from the ground up. 💄💜
Sometimes an old photo really does show you just how much life can change. 🌺

💛 THE BIG REVEAL 💛
Ta da! 🎉
After a week of clues, mystery reels, yellow tickets, beanies, scarves, hairbrush hints and lots of guessing…
This was The Big Reveal.
Yesterday afternoon, I shaved my head and donated just under 28cm in length of my hair to Wigs for Kids.
Five weeks ago, a friend’s family asked their community if anyone would consider donating their hair. They had already been raising money for Wigs for Kids, with enough donations to go towards almost three wigs. Knowing that one wig costs around $3,300, I knew how much every donation mattered.
I put my hand up.
At first, I thought I’d simply cut my hair to the required donation length.
Then my ADHD brain did what it often does…
It came up with a much bolder idea.
“What if I just shaved it all off?”
I’ve shaved parts of the sides of my hair before, but never my whole head.
As I thought about it, I couldn’t stop thinking about the friends and family in my life who have gone through cancer, who are currently going through treatment, who have survived, and those we’ve sadly lost. I also thought about the children and teenagers who will one day wear a wig made from donated hair.
If my hair can help even one young person smile, then every centimetre was worth it.
One of the most special parts of the day was having our daughter there beside me. She helped cut some of the ponytails and even shaved part of my head. She experienced every emotion imaginable, and I’m so grateful she shared that moment with me.
As for me…
I laughed.
I cried a little.
And then something unexpected happened.
I walked away feeling incredibly empowered.
Like I really can do hard things.
Like I can chase the big dreams I have for Love & Organise.
And like it’s finally time to kick imposter syndrome in the butt.
To everyone who followed along with my clues, sent me messages, guessed what I was doing, or simply cheered me on…
Thank you. 💛
You gave me the courage to follow through with one of the boldest things I’ve ever done.
🌻 Now tell me… did you work it out before today, or did I actually manage to surprise you? 👇

🌻 Today’s the day…
I honestly can’t believe I’m typing those words.
A few weeks ago, this idea popped into my head and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It felt exciting, terrifying, a little bit crazy… and for a while I wasn’t even sure if I’d actually go through with it.
So instead of blurting it all out, I decided to have a bit of fun.
This week you’ve seen clues about tickets, beanies, scarves, a hairbrush and a whole lot of random reels. 😂 Some of you have been completely confused, some of you have worked it out already, and quite a few of you have been sending me DMs to see if your guess was right.
I’ve absolutely loved every minute of it.
But something happened this week that meant I couldn’t quietly change my mind anymore.
I told the teachers at the schools I’ll be working at this term what I was about to do.
Then I stood up in front of a whole school assembly and shared my plan.
The moment I said it out loud, I realised…
Well… there’s no backing out now! 😅
It was scary, but it also made everything feel real.
If you’ve only just joined me, or you’ve missed a few clues along the way, head over to my Story Highlights and watch “The Big Reveal.” Everything from this week’s adventure is sitting there waiting for you.
Today’s reveal isn’t about chasing views or trying to go viral.
It’s about stepping outside my comfort zone, supporting a cause that’s close to my heart, and doing something I’ve never done before.
I honestly couldn’t have done this week without all of you.
Every follow, every comment, every message, every guess, every person who’s laughed along with me or quietly cheered me on… thank you. It means more than you’ll ever know.
This week alone, 9 new people joined the Love & Organise community. That might not sound like a huge number to some people, but to me it’s the biggest week of new followers I’ve ever had, and every single one of you matters.
💛 So… what’s your final guess before this afternoon?
Leave your guess in the comments, or send me a DM if you don’t want to spoil it for everyone else.
By this afternoon… you’ll finally know. 🌻

A few weeks ago, one of those ideas popped into my head.
At first, I laughed it off. Then I kept thinking about it… and thinking about it. Now, on one of the coldest winter days we’ve had, I’ve rebuilt the shelves, started putting everything into place, and somehow this crazy idea is becoming real.
The funny part?
I’m not sure how much longer I can keep this one to myself. 😂
I’m dropping little clues along the way, so if you’ve been wondering what all the tickets, shelves and mysterious posts are about… keep watching.
What do you think is going on? 👀

💛 Congratulations to my two amazing winners! 💛
A huge congratulations to Tashi Boyd and Carley Begg, who have each won a FREE 2-Hour Home Declutter Session! 🎉
Thank you both for being brave enough to put your hands up and share your stories. Asking for help isn’t always easy, and I hope this is the beginning of creating homes that feel a little calmer, lighter and easier to enjoy.
You’ll each also receive a copy of my Hot Mess Reset PDF guide to help keep the momentum going after your session. 🏡💛
A little behind-the-scenes moment… 😂
The winners were actually drawn last week, but thanks to school holidays and life getting busy, I completely forgot to create a winners announcement!
So today I asked Sage, my AI team member, to help me create this colourful graphic so I could finally celebrate these two wonderful women. 💻🌿
Normally you’ll see plenty of real photos across my page because that’s what Love & Organise is all about—real homes, real people and real life. But today, Sage definitely came to the rescue and helped me tick one more thing off my to-do list.
Thank you to everyone who entered, shared the giveaway and supported this little Pay It Forward project. Every comment, share and word of encouragement means so much as I continue growing Love & Organise.
💛 Sometimes all someone needs isn’t more storage… they just need someone to stand beside them, without judgement, and help them take the first step.
Here’s to creating calmer, more functional homes, one small step at a time. 🌼

Winter sunshine, fresh air and a slower pace. ☀️🌺
It’s almost 4 pm on the first day of the school holidays, and today has been one of those simple days.
The washing is on, Madi and I enjoyed a DIY workshop at Bunnings this morning, and now I’m soaking up the afternoon sunshine through the window.
These holidays aren’t about packing every minute with activities. They’re about making memories, enjoying the little moments, and reminding myself that not everything on the to-do list needs to happen today.
What did your family get up to on Day 1 of the school holidays? I’d love to hear what everyone has been doing. 💛
