Can you get away with using just the SPF protection in your make up? NO- you won’t be applying nearly enough to adequately protect your skin. While a two-in-one makeup and SPF product sounds like a lazy girl win, if you are serious about protecting your skin it simply is not enough, unless you apply a layer so thick that you look like you have a mask on! Unfortunately, it’s just not real-life usage. Plus, makeup doesn’t contain the same sweat/rub resistant claims that a separate lotion sunscreen does.
And don’t forget your neck and dec! Are you applying a full layer of foundation all the way down on your chest? Likely, not. If you use a separate lotion sunscreen you can easily apply it to the whole area. ✨

Thinking about having a couple of vinos the night before a PMU treatment?
Stop! Drinking alcohol can adversely affect your new PMU; it can make implanting the pigment into the skin more difficult and cause wound healing to be delayed, opening you up for a greater risk of infection and prolonged healing time.
So avoid the 🍷 24 hours before a procedure.

What a transformation!
Did you know that mature skin is prone to ashing out, blurring and scarring when microblading is applied to the skin.
This is because as we age the skin thins and becomes more fragile.
That is why I will never microblade a mature-skinned client,
But don't worry I can still get natural beautiful results with a powder or ombre brow, that won't ash, won't scar and won't turn into those blurred blobs that you sometimes see in people's brows.
