Newborn preparations 👶

Getting ready for newborns requires a bit more thought and prep. Something things i factor is:

❌ no perfume on me as it too strong for them
❌ no pointy jewellery on, for comfort when handling baby
❌no rough clothing on, to help settle baby comfortably
❌no cold temp, expect to be hot! Newborns lovvee to be warm so the temp will be high
❌ no hungry, thirsty parents, basic hospitality in my studio, there WILL be snacks
❌ no rush, all my newborn sessions are baby led, times are rough estimates as we need to make space for changes, feeds, little accidents 💩

Explaining my job illegally…

I make strangers pay me before we meet, send them an address, make them get undressed and change, shoot there belly, then stare at there photos until 2am, hoping to shoot there baby

Am I wrong though?? Hahaha different words same process and the crazy part I keep getting thanked for it 🤭

As a mum to 4 with 2 businesses, it makes it hard to squeeze time in for your business amongst our already busy schedules 😮‍💨
Maintenance for both looks like working in bed, on a flight, naptime, couch, home office or in the back of my van during sports 🚐
But I make it happen as I am grateful to be blessed with with a vision for a business that grows at my pace, do what I love and allows me to be mum and wifey first 🙏

Being a mum to 4 and running 2 businesses means having a full busy life 🫶

Maintaining both looks like working in the office, the couch, back of the van, in bed or on a flight 🚙✈️🛏️

But I am blessed with creativity and the vision to make something that supports me being a mum first 🙏
