As most of you know, last year I lost my favourite uncle, my best friend and one of my favourite humans — CC 🫶🏼

This time last year, during what is usually such a special time for us in the beauty industry, I woke up to the devastating news that changed my world forever. I never got the chance to see him again.

We didn’t make it to the DMK Awards that night. Everything was paid for, the girls were excited, and we were so looking forward to celebrating and catching up with our DMK family… but life had other plans.

So being able to finally make it this year meant more to me than I can really put into words. 🫶🏼 There was so much happiness in the weekend, but also that little part of my heart wishing CC was still here to hear all about it.

Grief is funny like that. People can see you smiling, working, celebrating and carrying on with life and assume the hurt has softened. But missing him is still something I feel deeply every single day.

One whole year without you, CC.
Life keeps moving, but there will forever be a part of me missing you. 🤍

And I know you would’ve loved the cowgirl get-up 🫶🏼

This client sustained a severe burn. We supported during the healing process. We focused on protecting the skin barrier and creating the best environment for healing.

I have used these products time and time again especially with my little one, when she split her lip open .

Our home care protocol included:

✨ TR Pro Gel
✨ DMK Actual Powder
✨ Applied 2-3 times daily
✨ Two LED light therapy sessions
✨ Herbal Pigment Oil was introduced around days 5-6 to help nourish the dry, flaking skin once the wound had begun to close.
